A You may submit the requirements to the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate for registration or onward transmittal to the Philippine Embassy or Consulate that has jurisdiction over the place where the vital event occurred.

    If you are in the Philippines, you may submit the requirements at DFA-Office of Consular Affairs, Consular Records Division or at any DFA-Regional Consular Office nationwide.

A Generally, the vital event such as a birth should be registered within thirty (30) days from the time of birth at the Local Civil Registrar of the City/Municipality where the birth occurred. However, for vital events which took place ABROAD, the period is within twelve (12) months from its occurrence. It is to be registered at the Foreign Service Post (Embassy or Consulate General) having jurisdiction where the vital event took place.
