INTERNET VOTING FOR FILIPINO OVERSEAS VOTERS
The Philippine Embassy in Vientiane informs registered Overseas Filipino voters in the Lao PDR that they can vote 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 for national positions in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. This will be the pioneering online mode of voting to be implemented by COMELEC, and to be facilitated by the Embassy. For voters registered under the Philippine Embassy, voting will be conducted fully online.
To participate, all registered voters are required to pre-enroll via the COMELEC Voting Portal. This is a necessary step to be able to vote online. Pre-enrollment will begin on 𝟭𝟬 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Please mark your calendars.
The link for the pre-enrollment will be shared once available. It will also be posted on the official websites and social media pages of COMELEC and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The 30-day overseas online voting period is from𝟭𝟯 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟮 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝟳:𝟬𝟬𝗣𝗠 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 only.
