In support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence against Women (VAW) from 25 November to 12 December 2024, the Philippine Embassy in Vientiane distributed fans, printed with #VAWFreePH, to members of the Filipino community in the Lao PDR during the Paskong Pinoy 2024 celebration held on 07 December 2024. Together with the fans, information cards on the campaign were distributed.

The Philippine Embassy supports the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence against Women (VAW), an advocacy campaign observed annually to intensify the Philippine government’s efforts to protect the human rights of women, as mandated by Proclamation No. 1172 series of 2006.
