The Philippine Embassy in Vientiane, led by Ambassador Deena Joy Amatong, celebrated Paskong Pinoy 2024 with more than 400 members of the Filipino community in the Lao PDR on 07 December 2024.

The Embassy also invited members of the Filipino community to participate in a parol-making contest. A total of 9 entries were received from 7 groups/individuals. All participants were given a chance to present their artworks. Out of all entries, the Farol de la Esperenza (Lantern of Hope) by Ms. Girlie Lepato won first place.

The guests also participated in fun games and raffle draws and were treated to various performances by talented FilCom members. Filipino food and beverages were served during the event.
