KAIA, a 5-member Philippine Pop (P-Pop) group that debuted in 2022, performed at the ASEAN-Korea Music Festival 2024 Round in Lao PDR held on 02-03 November 2024 at the National Convention Center in Vientiane.

During their visit to the Lao PDR, KAIA members were received by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jorge Philippe Arjona and other Philippine Embassy personnel at Embassy premises. KAIA members handed over books and other materials from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA) to Vice Consul Arjona for exhibition at Sentro Rizal Vientiane.

The ASEAN-Korea Music Festival 2024 featured musicians from each ASEAN member country and Korea. The Festival, hosted by KBS (Korean Broadcasting System), was organized to celebrate the Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2024. The Festival is also set to be held in the Philippines in 2026 during the country’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
