A delegation from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the National Defense College of the Philippines, led by BGen Joel M. Paloma, Chief of the Office for Strategic Studies and Strategy Management of AFP, participated in the 17th Track II Network of ASEAN Defence and Security Institutions (NADI) Annual Meeting held on 29 April - 02 May 2024 at the S Vang Vieng Boutique Hotel, Vang Vieng District, Lao PDR.
The annual convening of NADI Meetings offers a conducive environment for discussions between policy analysts, members of the academe, and other defense stakeholders on matters and issues of importance to ASEAN such as defense cooperation including in transnational threats, cybersecurity, maritime security, and defense amidst environmental crises, among others.
