The Philippine Embassy in Vientiane joins the Filipino nation in celebrating the 2024 National Women’s Month, as well as the Lao nation in commemorating International Women’s Day, today, 08 March 2024.

To kick off the celebrations, Philippine Ambassador Deena Joy Amatong hosted an Afternoon Tea with women Ambassadors on 01 March 2024 at Khoon Coffee Vientiane. During the event, Ambassador Amatong noted that there are currently 10 women Ambassadors in the Lao PDR, constituting 34% of the total heads of embassies in the country.
