Philippine delegation, led by Ms. Marie Sherylyn Aquia, Director of the Department of Trade and Industry Bureau of International Trade Relations (DTI-BITR) and the Philippines’ ASEAN Senior Economic Official, participated at the 55th ASEAN Senior Economic Officials’ Meeting (SEAM) held on 18-21 January 2024 in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

During the Meeting, ASEAN officials discussed key agenda of the ASEAN Economic Community Pillar under Laos’ chairmanship year including ASEAN economic integration, as well as preparations for the upcoming 30th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Retreat and Meeting.
