The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a civil-led and United Nations-supported annual international campaign that begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (VAW), until December 10, which is Human Rights Day.

In the Philippines, the “18-day Campaign to End VAW” is observed from November 25 to December 12 of every year to address all forms of VAW as well as to intensify the Philippine government’s efforts to protect the human rights of women.
