DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista led the Philippine delegation to the 29th ASEAN Transport Ministers (ATM) Meeting and Associated Meetings held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR, from 07-10 November 2023.

During the ATM Meeting, the members, together with Dialogue Partners, discussed and set policy direction for ASEAN transport cooperation towards facilitating greater connectivity and sustainability of regional transport. Matters discussed also include ways to tackle environmental issues such as climate change and global warming.

Secretary Bautista was joined by other DOTr officials. This includes Atty. Timothy John R. Batan, Undersecretary for Planning and Project Development, who headed the 56th ASEAN Senior Transport Officials Meeting (STOM) delegation.
