1 December 2021, Vientiane - To kick off the Month of Overseas Filipinos, the Philippine Embassy in Vientiane, in cooperation with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Kuala Lumpur, organized the first ever hybrid Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) for overseas Filipinos in Laos (in-person and via Zoom).

Over two dozen participants attended the hybrid event where representatives from POLO-KL shared information on the verification of employment contracts and OWWA programs and benefits. The Philippine Embassy also provided updates on its Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) program as well as its activities for the Month of Overseas Filipinos. This included the launch of the QR code for Embassy registration to update the database and in preparation for the distribution of food packs for Paskong Pinoy! END
