Ang mga Pilipino sa Luang Prabang, Vientiane Capital at iba pang bahagi ng Northern at Central Laos, lalo na ang mga nakatira sa mababang lugar, ay hinihimok na mag-ingat at maghanda para sa potensyal na pagbaha kasunod ng mga babala ng malakas na pag-ulan at pagtaas ng tubig sa Mekong River na iniulat ng Department of Meteorology and Hydrology ng Lao PDR at ng Mekong River Commission (MRC).

Filipinos in Luang Prabang, Vientiane Capital and other parts of Northern and Central Laos, especially those in low-lying areas, are urged to exercise caution and prepare for potential flooding following forecasts of heavy rains and rising water levels in the Mekong River as reported by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of the Lao PDR and the Mekong River Commission (MRC).
