The Philippine Embassy in the Lao PDR joins the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in celebrating the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) for the whole month of October 2024 with the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation”.

By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 647 s. 1990, NSM is being celebrated for the whole month of October every year with the aim of enhancing and instilling nationwide awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of society.
