The Philippine Embassy in the Lao PDR joins the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) in observing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), today, 26 June 2024, with the theme “The evidence is clear: invest in prevention”.

On 07 December 1987, the United Nations General Assembly issued a resolution declaring the 26th of June of every year as the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the aim to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving the goal of a world free of drug abuse.
