The seminar aimed to inform employers of Filipino workers in the Lao PDR of relevant guidelines and processes in the hiring of Filipinos. The interactive discussions focused on the standard employment contract, particularly the provisions on insurance of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

The seminar, held in-person and online, was attended by representatives from over 20 Lao companies, institutions and businesses.
