On the occasion of Women's Month 2022, the Philippine Embassy in Vientiane is presenting an Exhibition featuring Emerging Filipina Artists from 17 to 27 March 2022 at the lobby of the Souphattra Serviced Apartments, Vientiane, Lao PDR.

For its theme, the Embassy chose to juxtapose the “male gaze”, which refers to the tendency of images of women to be mediated by a masculine eye, against the "female gaze" and how young women see themselves today.

This exhibition contains twenty pieces: five pieces depicting the “male gaze” and fifteen pieces from the "female gaze". The exhibit includes paintings, sculptures, an assemblage and, in keeping with the times, an NFT.
